The 8-piece Victornox Knife Set consists of a selection of the most frequenty used kitchen cutlery pieces. The blades are all constructed from high carbon, stainless steel, and were hand finished in Switzerland. They have a full tang which provides good strength and balance. The sharp edges of the knives are retained and can readily be resharpened when required.
There are black fibrox handles on all the utensils which are molded in a ergonimic fashion designed to decrease wrist strain caused by extended knife usage.
There are 5 knives in this Victorinox Knife set: a 4-inch paring, 6-inch boning, 8-inch chef’s, 8-inch bread, and 10-inch slicing. In addition, there is a 10 inch steel for sharpening, and also a pair of kitchen shears. All the utensils can be slotted into the solid hardwood block. The slots are angled for quick access.
The cutlery in the Victorinox Knife set is dishwasher friendly, and covered by a life-time warranty. Whislt they are safe to use in a dishwasher, it is recommended by the manufacturer that they be handwashed.
